We spend a hectic three days exploring the sprawling ruins of Angkor and treated ourselves to a performance at the local Phare Circus.
One of the best things we did in Laos was donating some of our time to speaking English with enthusiastic children with Big Brother Mouse – closely followed by a dip in a chilly waterfall.
We kept ourselves busy in Vang Vieng visiting caves, lagoons and even taking a spontaneous hot air balloon ride at sunrise.
We really enjoyed our time in the sleepy capital of Laos, exploring the weird and wonderful Buddha Park and a humbling experience at the COPE visitor centre.
We climbed the 272 colourful steps that lead up to the enormous Batu Caves and soaked up some history in the beautiful Islamic Arts Museum.
We finally head down South for a welcome change of pace and chased crabs in Varkala.
We got to visit the iconic Taj Mahal, my absolute favourite place so far, and spend time exploring the infamous Ghats of Varanasi.
We spend a few days unwinding and exploring the picturesque Udaipur and it’s beautiful lake.
We boarded our first Indian train and explored the enchanting blue city of Jodhpur.
We spent the morning riding camels and a couple days sleeping inside the incredible Jaisalmer Fort.
